But that doesnΉt mean a whole lot these days. For example I have currently on the desk next to me bearings made by SKF. If you get bearings with CR on the box you are still SKF as well. SKF a swedish company owns Chicago Rawhide. SKF has mfg plants everywhere. Of the three bearings I have in front of me I have a vanagon front inner made in mexico, vanagon front outer, made in germany, a bearing for my trailer, made in spain.
