6 point quality socket and a wobble drive extension. Need to get high
quality stuff- Snap-on or similar. The wobble drive is the greatest
thing there is! If throwing away the pipe, you can cut it off first with
a sawzall, then get a socket on the bolt straight. If the bolt/ nut
heads are rusted a lot, go to 1/2" or 12mm. Penetrating oil helps about
as much as water in breaking stuff loose, IOW, never. If it won't come,
you have to use a oxy-acetylene torch. Need to be very careful then to
avoid damage.
