Thanks to all who were able to provide Handy Hintz to me about this! It doesn't appear to be much of a job at all to install the unit, and I reckon the vacuum assist canister is not needed. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 Type 2: the Wonderbus 84 Westphalia: "Mellow Yellow (The Electrical Banana)" KG6RCR

You want to attach to the throttle cable location at the throttle lever. It should be easy to hook up. I have not done it yet (need to get the system working properly before I start adding more stuff to it) but have done it to a Honda in the past (the same Audiovox system). I have one in my room with a lengthened control cable for the Vanagon. > >William > >-----Original Message----- >From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Rocket J Squirrel >Sent: Tuesday, October 26, 2004 6:24 AM >To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >Subject: That Audiovox Cruise Control > > >I know from searching the archives that others have tried, and like, the Audiovox cruise control > >http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ProductDisplay/s-10101/p-273/c-10101 > >I am tempted to get it for Mellow Yellow, but before doing so, I have a couple of questions for the folks who already have installed one: > >1.
