That sound like it was the sales tax on the coach when he bought it, not his annual registration fee. Mine actually cost less to register and insure annually than my Vanagon. I added RV Plus to my AAA membership for another $20.00 year. They will tow it up to 200 miles or pay for at least two extraction attempts. You should see the size of the wrecker(s) they send for a 34,000 lb coach; and mine's a baby (for a Bluebird) in comparison.
