Howdy All, I recently sent a Ruf Porsche muffler to Stan Wilder's Engine Ceramics to have it black ceramic coated. I was in a big hurry because I was getting the van ready for a Porsche show last weekend and I was very anxious to get the muffler on. I can commend Stan on several points: 1) He gave me a very fair price. 2) His black ceramic coating turned out very good and looks fantastic on the van! 3) Stan really went out of his way to make sure he was fast with the job and I had great turn around time. The exhaust is the only piece I have had Stan coat for me, but I wouldn't hesitate to get any other parts coated if I had my engine disassembled. It only makes sense to do the type of work that Stan does. Reduced friction and heat are always good things, even in a stock rebuild. I hope other people have the same good experiences with Stan that I have had. Cheers, Bruce motorbruce motorbruce@hotmail.com |
