Hi Volks!

Well to those of you who sometimes wish you had opening windows in the back of the van Here's a couple pics of a project I just recently finished.

What once is only a thought and a vision can become a reality.

D pillar sliders.

I installed the rear 88 on rear air vents and a modified pair of side sliding windows to the D pillar windows of the 87 syncro. Even though with this design I only get about a 5 inch opening it still lets in plenty of fresh air when camping and sleeping in the back. Kind of cool that the kids now have their own window to play with when riding in the back of the van too. I used polycarbonite to replace the rear fixed glass as it is now much smaller. Not much in the way of tools or anything that takes that long. You could actually do this in a "weekend".

Happy Friday!

Doug
