Or ocean, in this case. Rainfall in SoCal always brings about reports of
heavily-contaminated water along the shore. A year's worth of road oil,
huge amounts of dog poop, and occasional sewer overflows all contribute
to nasty, nasty water. That notwithstanding, you'll find surfers bobbing
around in the effluvia anyway.

I'll check with my local municipality w/r/t dumping one engine load of
coolant down the house drain.
