Check the series speed resistor. The jammed fan may have burned it out.

Hey all, Finally got around to replacing my rear heater core and the fan that was dead due to a nut being caught in the fan and burning it out... all went well but the used fan i got only works on high! I have two fan switches one known to be good and the fan still only works on high... anything i am missing? i did notice the used fan i bought was just a little stiff when i turned the blades... could that fan i bought be getting ready to kick the bucket also? if it is.. i want to pull it now and put one in that is good before i tidy up everything and put everything back together... thought? thanks all, jess 89 carat
