You need an old Agfa Rondinax 35mm daylight-loading developing tank. Black bakelite. About 2.5 x 7 x 5 inches. Film cassette goes in with end of film clipped to the uptake roller, light-tight and watertight lid is clipped on, film wound on to developing reel from outside, fluid poured in through light-tight filler, film jiggled back and forth by rotating the developing reel with external wheel. Just load in daylight and rinse, develop, fix, rinse in daylight. Spot of hot water or ice cubes from the fridge in an icecream container in the van sink [van content]controls temperature. I did it all in the sink. Then, one of the tiny folding journalist's enlargers, in like a little briefcase. This is all 1960's stuff, found in attics of old photo gear stores. I have half a dozen of the developing tanks stored away in a box somewhere, with some of the larger 120 or 620 ones (not as foolproof, a bit quirky), you'd be welcome but I'm in Australia. I used to travel with a Nikon F3, an FM2N, all the best prime lenses and a Plaubel Makina pocket field camera... I went digital (Canon G3 and now just sit in the van [van content] with my laptop, inserting pictures into letters to friends).
