Subject: Country Home Campers FS - Erratum..needs help identifying this
              conversion..
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

So I spent some time last night at my shop looking at this camper. I am not so sure anymore if it's a Country Home Campers (CHC).

The poptop looks different than the one on their website.

http://www.countryhomescampers.com/

Unlike their poptop, mine covers the whole van, including the front roof above the driver/passenger.

The poptop does raise vertically like a CHC, but there's a fiberglass section that wraps around and stay on the van, even when the top is up. The canvas seems original, and it's bright yellow.

The inside has a huge fridge (Dometic), a table, a sink, stove and a propane furnace - and lot of cabinet. It's really nicely designed.

It does look like an American conversion, with the same nice brownish color from the 80's...

Even the front seats have been replaced in that conversion.

They are larger than the usual European seat.

I wish I had my camera last night.

Anyone has an idea? Did CHC make 2 types of fiberglass roof?

Any other conversion were available in 82?

thanks

Christian
