Yep, I did the same to the pass side of the 90 at the wrecker. Tried to carefully pull it out because the van was pinned in there. It tore after I got about 1/2 of it free.

Better to pull the door on a parts van first to get the seal and the channel.

i have pass side ones available, drivers side is up against a wall and i already ripped the seal trying to get it off without removing the door
