Having been in and around auto/truck industry most of my life, I have learned a few things that have helped get vehicle and or parts of said back,

Simply drop your business card down into the doors, toss another under the dash, etc. This broke up a "chop shop" ring in the Chicago area back in the mid 70's, guy bought back his own car doors and the business cards was the proof.

Sorry ta hear your van is gon.

this for listmembers in the Vancouver BC area...

my 82 GL was stolen last night from my apartment building on the west side of vancouver.

4spd, pale yellow, thule roof rack, diesel badge on the rear hatch, I4 conversion in the engine bay. No middle seat, brown interior w/pale green corduroy upholstery. Bit of rust in the sliding door, front right bumper end cap missing.

BC licence plate CSM 763.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If ya see it drop me a line....

Bill M 82GL ( sort of!)
