Install the cat. Get out on the highway and run at highway speeds for about an hour. That should clean it. If you want to remove that carbon you can spray EZ-Off oven cleaner in there (wear eye protection and a breathing mask) it will dissolve the carbon. After a 20 minute soaking you can just hose it out with a garden hose. Be sure the cleaning process is done over a tray or bucket because the EZ OFF will kill grass for the season.
