Better yet, buy the whole thing, get it running again: A. Hand it to your wife- it's the best thing in the world to teach someone to drive a stick on. Big flywheel, lots of low end torque - well, not LOTS, VERY low clutch pedal pressure, and a very low 1st gear.. I've taught several people to drive a stick with mine. The only easier thing would be a tractor! B. DON'T let your wife have it. Become much wealhtier driving a 32mpg diesel van hauling 6 commuters to work. C. DON'T let your wife have it. Become much more laid back and much more attuned to the direction that the wind is blowing! Al Brase (had my 82 Vanagon diesel sunroof for 15 years now- and it was running during some of them.) Warning- it is now Friday EDT!
