Ok, on Mark Drilloks request, I have gone out and taken a look a the numbers on the side of my XCA tires.

Is my face yellow with all the egg on it!!! I must have sniffed to much airwick and popped to much NoDoz the day I bought the tires. Would have sworn the numbers were as I stated them.

Here are the ply numbers for the XCA as read off the tire itself tonight.

Tread: Two plys of polyester, 3 plys of steel

Sidewall: Two plys of polyester

Pressure: 65 psi.

Here is a link to a website with a complete review of the XCA tire. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=XCA

I still stand by the tire as being a good one for the Vanagon and Westy. And the tire reviews by others support my view.

Sorry for the mis-representation.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver with 7 Ply XCA's
