I mounted my CB to the astray.  I cut a 2"x 2" piece of wood, the
length of the tray and used body plastic to glue it level in the ashtray
opening.   On this wood I mounted the bracket to support the
CB.  Drilled thru the entire mess for wires to come thru.  The
rear of the CB rests on the dash itself, and it ended up sitting
completely level.  I painted the entire thing black.  Looks and
works well.  Next,  I want to install a permanent antenna.
Anyone every put down the head liner to install an antenna wire?
