I was investigating some old boxes and found the original Blaupunkt radio that came in  my '59 Campmobile.  Or maybe it was the '63 panel Bus (30 yrs back and a bunch of stories).  Anyway, the Busses are sadly gone, but the Blaupunkt remains.  It has 3 bands.  AM, FM, and M (marine or short wave).  If I remember correctly, it is a tube radio, but it has a hardwired satellite amplifier with what looks like 3 enormous transistors mounted in a heat sink on one end.  It was so big and heavy that even under the copious Bus dash, it took two units to make an auto radio.  I have no idea of its current condition.  It worked when I removed it to put in the stereo 8-track player.  Big stuff back then. The 8-track was in the box also.
If anyone is interested in buying it for a old Bus or can give me the address of the Bus list and how to sign on (same as with us?) drop me an e-mail.  It will probably take some work to make it operate correctly.  I have no idea of it's worth and won't look into it if a reasonable offer is made from someone doing an old Bus restoration or wants to put it into it's original hole. Otherwise I'll look on the antique radio buff's list or e-bay.
