Subject: Steel ring gasket source?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi guys, I am looking for a source for the steel ring gasket that is sealing the head with the cylinder (I know, I can get it in a full set or a half set). I don't need the rest of the gaskets, only need these rings. They seem to be of two parts, because when I clean them they sound like they are shifting on each other, giving a light crackling sound. I have not taken one apart yet though. I thought, maybe one of you would machine some of it and sell it to the members. If I had my shop now, I would have made some already. They look like, they were just pressed out of a plate of sheet metal. I would turn it on a lathe out of a seamless pipe, slicing them off one by one. Any of you have an idea? Zoltan
