On my conversion setup I ordered a flange from KEP but I am sure others have them as well. Just nobody locally had one.

That was actually on the exhaut to cat side. I am getting ready to do the same on the other side as well. The reason is I donΉt like the weld if I have to disassemble it. And slip clamping that I currently have is doing just that. It is slipping and I have to reclamp after about 6 to 8 months. Probably in the spring I will order two more flanges and put those in place of the clamps. But welding the muffler to the cat is also a choice in some installations but I prefer to avoid it as it is a pain to replace one or the other if one of them gets damaged.
