The tail light sockets will melt. ----------------- Clip --------------------- The tail light lenses will melt long before the sockets do so it has a fail safe.

This is not a good idea.

The tail light sockets will melt. The headlight switch will fail. Reduced contrast of the brake to tail lights. 400 watts for rear tail lights if all bulbs are lighted. 38% of total alternator capacity for tail lights! The bulbs won't last. Annoying glare to drivers behind you. Won't stop idiots from rear ending you.
