Wouldn't under the van be too obvious.  If someone watches you regularly
leave the van and/or return to drive it away, he or she will see you
turn it on and off each time. Wouldn't seem to be too hard to figure out
what you were doing. While it would be more protection than no kill
switch, it would only work against a "random" thief.  Many thefts aren't
random.  It would better be hidden inside under the seat or dash so that
you activation / deactivation of the switch would not be seen.
