While we're on the topic, I recently had the opportunity to sleep on an Aerobed: http://www.thinkaero.com/retail/aerobed.asp

I must say, a very high quality and comfortable air mattress, and the inflation pump is fast!. Unfortunately the twin size is longer than the width of my Vanagon and the mattress is not cuttable. I'm going to ask them for a price on a custom size. Disadvantage with air mattresses: COLD!
