Maybe there is some confusion between Bev Harris and Katherine Harris... the highly-partisan former Secretary of State of Florida, who gained prominence during the 2000 election. Two very different women, with *very* different agendas.

Black Box Voting has been working hard to try and get states that are using electronic voting machines to make sure there is a printed record of each vote, to facilitate recounts if needed. Unfortunately, their efforts failed here in New Jersey.
