The RI's I deal with charge between $5,500 & $7,000 to DOT and EPA a vehicle. That may not be an option for this Doka though since it was not imported properly through an RI the paperwork is non-existant.

BTW: That guy has also posted that Doka on The Samba for $9,500 so I'll bet his reserve on eBay is quite high.

As I said before... Warning, warning, Will Robinson!! Selling that Doka for parts is probably not illegal, but putting it back on the road in the US is definitely illegal.

Right. And what about the LT 24 on its right in the picture? Lose the title to that, too? The reason that he has it listed in the Parts For Sale section is that Ebay would not accept the listing if he puts the VIN in the listing. Do I sense that we possible cannot believe some of what this guy says? Has anyone else ever bought a vehicle from him? How much would it cost to run this thing thru an RI (registered importer) and get it DOT and EPA approved? Al Brase
