Greetings. I've been absorbing information here and the Subaru conversion list in anticipation of installing a Subaru 2.5L in a newly acquired '88 Westy. Now that I know it wasn't a collapsed lifter but a bad bearing it is time get the old WBX out of there. (It was knocking loudly but very cheap.) I would like to give this van a new life and enjoy it for a few more years. This is where the kind favor comes in… I am looking for a location to complete this project as I am currently lacking a garage. Nothing fancy, but some place in the greater Washington DC area with a roof. I am perfectly willing to pay reasonable rent for the space. This would realistically take a month or two of weekends and I am organized and cleanly. Please drop me an email with any ideas. Thanks, Eric |
