Oops, I was just putting on the rocker arm assembly and positioning the push rods when I noticed that I had forgotten to fill the new lifter before I installed it. Would it be ok to let the lifter bleed itself when I eventually fire up the engine (and then adjust it), or can the lifter be damaged if it is not filled with oil. ? Is there a way to fill it while it is installed?. I was thinking of pouring some oil down the tube and then pushing on the lifter numerous times with the pushrod to see if it would vacuum up some of the oil. Thanks for your help, Vince
