BUT! Feeling the no-lash point is pretty subtle. That plunger spring is pretty light and when there is no oil in the lifter the spring pressure is all you feel. A big clue is that all the adjusting screws should have about the same number of threads showing. If one is 2 or more full turns different, there is likely something wrong. BTW, total travel is about 4 turns, if I remember correctly. Al Brase
