Thanks, Eric!

I was able to get the cable out of the backing plate, some penetrating oil and gentle twisting freed it up... Next step is to try and get those forks to come out, they look to be nicely "rust welded" in place. That'll teach me to buy a van that comes from even farther north than Pittsburgh. :-)
