This is just a FYI. There are TWO different clutch slave pushrods. The rod from one brand is a different length than the other brand. I changed one out once and my pedal would go part way down and hit hard like something was under the pedal. (Actually, the slave piston was hitting the end of its travel before releasing the clutch fully.) This is a problem with a pack-rat like me. I keep planning to send one into one of those cylinder restoration places and get it sleeved in brass or stainless. Has anyone ever done this? I feel that the clutch never gets the cylinder hot enough (unlike the brakes!) to boil the water back out of the brake fluid. Silicone fluid (what is that DOT 3?) would be the answer in this case, but I'm not a real big fan of it for brakes.A separate reservoir would make them separate.
