If I took my crashed 87 GL, cut it at the windshield posts and at the bottom of the pinch weld from the back of the front wheel arches, did the same with the DOKA, then switched roofs and rear platforms it would still be an 87 GL, only it would LOOK like a DOKA, right? Yes, it's a lot of work, but seems like it would meet the letter of the law. And YES, I've already done it on an early 23 window. Only thing is, I'd not need to pay Vic $9,000 us for those parts. Anybody in Germany could get them for about 1000-1500 Euro. Probably another $1000 to get it here to a seaport if you put 2 or 3 into a container. Al Brase Tim Demarest wrote:
