Don't you guys ever get out of your vans? I recently met a fellow Vanagon enthusiast in Manila, Philippines. He is just as proud of his Westy as any of you guys. He owns one of about 10 Vanagons in the entire country. Even has the Behr indash AC. And boy did it work great.

The best Vanagons are the ones that go 500-600+mph at 30,000 feet with flight attendants and lavatories. I just think of these big aluminum things as overgrown Westies with wings.
