Does anyone know which fuel lines are prone to leaks that cause engine fires?

My 81 Westy has three types.

1) rubber junctions - used to connect between different lines (ie fuel pump to plastic line)

2) plastic tube - used to run from the fuel pump/tank to the engine compartment.

3) metal lines - connect to the injectors.

I found some dry rot on the rubber lines so I changed all of these. The plastic and metal lines seem fine. Is it necessary to change the plastic and metal tube?

Thanks,

Tony Zygmunt 81 Westy air cooled
