Most Odd piece? anyone with a sunroof model bring home a large/tall object? >> Max load in a straught Syncro: About 8 cuFt of soapstone countertop material, probably about 1200 lbs. The Hakkapelliita's had to be pumped up a bit, but the van road nicely at cruise speed. It's a wonder what a bit of sprung mass will do for ride quality. Sorta like the difference between a HobieCat and the Titanic. Fortunately, no sudden changes in speed or direction were needed. Tall loads in a Sunroof: Numerous things attached to appliance dollies. Refrigerators, freezers, commercial front load washers, etc. The Sunroof I had was the greatest for schlepping. Even if an odd-ject was short enough to fit into the cargo bay without opening the roof, opening the roof and being able to stand while loading often made for an easier go of it. George |
