JOHN; I converted my 87 Westy to SVX a few months ago. Smallcar and Kennedy will sell you most of the stuff. Subaru and SVX Vanagon lists on Yahoo groups are the experts. This is the readers digest version; 1. Engine, all accessories, intake plastic to filter. 2. ECU, wiring harness from ECU to engine to O2 sensors, sensors optional. 3. Relays for fuel pump and main power, mounted together near ECU. 4. Ignitor box, mounted on firewall. 5. Wiring to alternator. You buy from Kennedy; 1. Adapter plate and flywheel 2. Stage 2.5 clutch You buy from Smallcar; 1. Wiring diagragm 2. Mounts 3. Various stuff (I recommend everything they sell unless you value your time at $1 an hour or less) Headers from Turbovans or Smallcar. Add 60-120 hours of labor or so, depending on your skill level. The parts for the SVX cost about 800 more than the 2.2 or 2.5. The SVX motors are about the same as the 2.2, and much cheaper than the 2.5. I love mine.
