Unfortunately the FCC has micromanaged the airwaves so that the result is
entities such as Sirius. They did the same thing to Amateur Radio by choking
it with strict regulations.
So...Sirius is now redistributing the profits so we can ALL hear Stern even
if we don't want to. Sounds like SOCIALISM to me! You can all expect higher
subscription rates even if you don't want Stern.
As to the constitutionality of Stern et al on the public airwaves, a
majority of taxpayers want him on. So why can't they hear him? Because a few
moralizers say it's corrupting the rest of us.
