I keep a remote stater button in my rolling tool box for this sort of uneventful occasion. Connect the starter button, remove the plug's , lay them on the block, and crank away--neat item for adjusting valves or spinning the motor over to locate TDC also. I'd venture to say that Joy Rides Hall sensor is dust.
E-mail message Over the years I've found that having a little NEON tester saves the Shock procedure for the country boys. You can make your own neon tester from two leads and a neon bulb from Radio Shack or just buy the tester from most auto parts stores. The home made tester is my preference because I make it up with long leads and It's a one man job by just tossing the test bulb over the rear seat you can see it while cranking the engine.
