Well, I went to the tire shop today and they seem to think they can rustle
one up for me. But if it happens, I'll check to make sure it's stainless
steel.

This is Santa Fe, New Mexico. The nearest good  VW junkyard is in
Albuquerque. But I don't know if you can still get hubcaps at junkyards
since most people don't consider them junk.
