I thought this was a strange animal. I'll have to take a few pictures for everyone's perusal. Personally, I really liked the simplicity of this unit. It fits nicely under the rear seat/bed, but only has two outlets for cool air (and two inlets).

I only use deadly nubile maidens as guards for Van-O-Rama. Today, it's so cold in SF today that stealing AC systems is the last thing on their minds.

The only AC systems I have seen are:

1) Overhead AC as found in rear of Westies 2) Overhead front only AC's (shaped like a H) 3) Behr in-dash units 4) Mark IV (aftermarket) underdash units 5) Late-style overhead with center tunnel 6) European Cooler Air

BenT ps: cut & paste poptop conversions do not make a "syncro westy" as the poster asked, chris. =(
