Subject: Proper tire inflation?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I just purchased a new set of 205-70R-14 tires for my alloy wheels for my 89 Westfalia camper. They are load range D (8 ply) and have a sidewall rating of 1874 lbs at 65 PSI. Not a truck tire but street tread. Replaced my MXL's since MXT's and MXL's are not made anymore. My sticker at the driver's front door for this size tire says 40 lbs rear and 30 front. I had never prior kept it as low as 30 on the front. Am I to use the 40 range or go ahead and inflate them closer to the 65?
