Maggie and I have the Bialetti espresso makers. I bought a 4 cup, but it was not enough coffee for two, so Maggie bought a 6 cup maker which is perfect. The link below shows a good picture of the Kona model. I bought the 4 cup model in Taos, NM and paid too much. Maggie bought the 6 cup model for less. They have a wide base and are stable on a camp stove. They make great coffee. Like I said, check around for prices. The one above seems a little expensive, but not overly so. The model is important - BIALETTI KONA. Still needs a trivet to sit comfortably on the Vanagon stove. Warren Lail 88 Westy "Billy Bones" "His stories were what frightened people worst of all. Dredful stories they wre - about hanging, and walking the plank, and storms at sea, and the Dry Tortugas, and wild deeds and places on the Spanish Main. By his own account the must have lived his life among some of the wickedest men that God ever allowed upon the sea." |
