Hi Bob & List,
This is a commercially available product. I investigated
making one for my previous vehicle but decided it was not
worth the trouble. The universal adaptors are from Split
Second:

but they cost a mint. There are a number of companies that
will custom make them as well, also for a fair chunk of
change.
If you are really keen on removing restrictions and have a
bit of time on your hands, the other option is to remove
the MAF entirely:

I'm EXTREMELY curious to hear the results of the dyno
