So that would be a good thing, to limit universal participation? I'm not sure I see the advantage to that, as far as the list goes, but yet to allow plenty of bandwidth for synthetic/vs petro oil, rebuilt heads, what's-the-biggest-tire-I-can-run and first amendment discussions? I don't see how that's ultimately going to help me and my Vanagons, which is what this list is about.

I don't know the answers but : ) though we may not be all pro mechanics, it doesn't mean we are stupid. I like the current moderator and therefore the current state of affairs just fine.
