Check out Starbuck's battery powered grinder and stainless coffee press.  These are great additions to a Westy.  I got both of them when I worked there about a year ago.  They should still be around.

Lost track of my good old crank handle grinder somewhere. Will be picking
up another one. I sometimes carry my electric grinder with me and run it
off of my inverter. Depending on the trip will determine what I carry in
coffee. I always have a 1 pounder in the van. Will carry whole beans along
on longer camp trips.
