Funny you guys should be talking about auto trannies. Mine had a
catastrophic failure today. It started to fell like it was slipping on
way way home. By the time I drove 3 blocks, I lost drive altogether.
Is it time to replace this trans? Could it just require band
adjustment like GM trannies. Or could it be some loose bolt that is
letting pressure escape as someone suggested. BTW, this is backed up
by a 2.2 turbo Subaru engine.
