My only concern with the aluminum stovetop espresso maker was that the first one I got didn't work - the coffee never came through to the top - and I was afraid that little pressure valve would pop and spew hot coffee everywhere. If you have an aluminum one that actually works, it should be fine. The stainless steel Bialetti that I have now is heavy-duty and works well. They come in different sizes - 4, 6, 10 cup, etc. I got mine on e-bay for around $45. Just Google "Bialetti stainless steel" and you'll get lots of links and some good prices. As for the Alzheimers and Aluminum, I'm hoping my wicked ways do me in before the Alzheimers has a chance.
