Subject: Re: What's the definitive word on tires??

They are a mould that a Korean company bought from Michelin (that is what the salesman told me). Les Schwab deals with one of it's subsidiaries under another name (although Les Schwab doesn't carry this size). They are brand name Woosung. I posted a couple snapshots on that Yahoo BC vanagon chat site. You may try going to http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/BC_Vanagons/ (this may be a better link than the last one I gave..you may need to join the group and unsubscribe later if you so wish..it is just starting up) to see the photos of the tread and the sticker that comes with the tire. Sticker tells speed rating, sidewall load rating, etc. Anyway, I did some research on the company and they indeed are viable and have been around awhile. I went for it and so far I have been happy so thought I would pass it on to this group. Good luck.
