An industry release by vw about 2 weeks ago seems to suggest a vehicle
currently set up in mexico or pending in mexico, however the only vehicles I
ever found were in brazil.  I have been trying to find more info but no
luck.  I have seen rumors of a truck under test in mexico for a while.  I
believe it is based on the brazilian but is supposed to be heavier vehicle.
(this is not the same as the old rabbit truck by a long shot)

Which is also on the brazilian site.  If you donΉt follow vw news...about 4
years ago vw brazil gained independent status of a sort from vw intl for
design for in country non export vehicles.  Similar to a status that VW SA
used to have.
