I have been trying to find more info but no luck. I have seen rumors of a truck under test in mexico for a while. I believe it is based on the brazilian but is supposed to be heavier vehicle. (this is not the same as the old rabbit truck by a long shot)

When doing searches on stuff for a small suv a while back I came up with

<http://www.vw.com.br/default.asp?turl=%2Fautomoveis%2Fparati%2FDefault%2Eas p%3F>

Which is also on the brazilian site. If you donΉt follow vw news...about 4 years ago vw brazil gained independent status of a sort from vw intl for design for in country non export vehicles. Similar to a status that VW SA used to have.
