Some weird stuff has been happening lately.  Not just with mail on this
list.  I am suddenly getting reject messages that I am a spammer if I send
to personal boxes as well as the list, messages that imply I have been
sending attachments and need to repack and resend (of course that repack
message itself is what has the virus in it waiting for me to resend it to
some poor victim.  Also suddenly started getting spam on this address.  I
only use this address for wetwesties and vanagon.

The microbus itself was put on hold and is in redesign.  Myself and others
that were following it noted that VW suddenly was hiding the front end of
the vehicle at the last news announcement before it was put on hold.  It was
also noted that the Skoda reps were on the stand at the announcement.  I
smell major redesign.  I especially liked some of the Skoda design ideas and
hope that their camper version is the one that comes out for the US as well
as europe, but I smell another winnie deal from some other industry news
that has leaked out.  Last word is look for a mid model year 2006 to mid
model year 2007 release but no word as to where that first release will go.

The new vw production chief affirmed that the bus project is still active in
an announcement last month.
