Bill,

I changed the clutch master on my 88 GL.

I didn not try to bleed the entire clutch system. After installation I found that the clutch master will self bleed. Put new fluid in the tank, made sure I had fluid through the new clutch master, tightened the fittings, then pumped the pedal rapidly full stroke for 75- 100 times. The system cleared of air and Ive had proper pedal ever since.
