If you really need more heat, than your heater cores are probably shot. They tend to clog up both internally and externally. Especially the front one as it gets all the road dirt. A trick for best heat effectiveness is to avoid the temptation to put the front heater fan on high. As it only pulls in outside air, the higher air flow causes the air to be heated less. Fan speed 2 provides the best heat transfer. You will be surprised how effective new heater cores are.
